Alan Lewis

Alan joined Whale Rock Accounting in 2005 and co-founded the company secretarial and legal arms in 2007 and 2008. He now leads the natural resources group.

An experienced accountant who has held senior positions in both practice and industry, Alan is also an accomplished modeller an programmer who brings together these complimentary skills in many of the services he offers clients.

Alan’s industry experience is largely natural resource focussed, having worked with a number of oil & gas explorers and producers, miners and clean-technology companies.

Alan’s key strength is the ability to identify practical solutions to business problems, by designing and building tools which can be used to streamline processes and to create internal efficiencies.

His clients tend to be companies who are growing rapidly, acquisitive or raising finance. Alan has significant listed company experience.
