Whale Rock Legal Consultants
Our consultancy arrangement is ideal for self-employed solicitors who want the flexibility to work when and where best suits their lifestyle. There are no set working hours and consultants are free to work from a satellite office or from home.
Consultants practice under our professional indemnity insurance cover and benefit from our administrative support. We manage client care, the anti-money laundering process, invoicing and collection and the consultant has no management responsibilities.
Consultants are under no obligation to bring work to Whale Rock and we recognise that consultants’ clients “belong” to the consultant and not to Whale Rock.
In the same way, Whale Rock is under no obligation to provide consultants with work although we may from time to time offer work to consultants if this falls within their area of expertise. Consultants may also obtain work referred by other Whale Rock consultants.
Our consultants are not paid a salary but receive a fixed percentage of the amount that they bill and which is subsequently paid. Consultants have sole discretion over what they bill their own clients for the work they perform.
