Hilary Schrader

Hilary trained with Allen & Overy and qualified as a commercial lawyer in the City before moving in-house to Nestlé, where she also advised on employment law issues related to their 8,000-strong UK workforce.

After almost seven years at Nestlé, she returned to Allen & Overy as a senior associate in their employment pensions and benefits practice. Immediately prior to joining Whale Rock, she led the employment law practice for Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she also headed a professional team of employee relations experts in the EMEA HR function.

Hilary is an advocate of proactive HR legal practices and expert in the prevention and resolution of employee issues at an early stage. She is experienced in the full range of employment challenges facing businesses, from recruitment and selection to termination, and can assist with resolving disputes and advise on litigation strategy on a wide range of issues.

She also advises on the employment aspects of acquisitions and disposals and on the transfer and outsourcing of employees.
