Oil & Gas lawyer  – 3years’ pqe +

Generous base salary plus significant bonus potential.

Whale Rock Legal is a niche, City based practice with a broad range of clients, ranging from FTSE 100 companies, large privately owned multinationals and private equity houses, to SME’s and start-ups (www.whalerocklegal.com). Together with our traditional legal services we also provide a unique part time in house legal function for clients.  This is a full time employed role to help grow our oil & gas practice.

Your skills

  • Upstream experience, minimum 3 years’ pqe
  • In house experience preferred (not a pre-requisite)
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Gravitas and commercial awareness
  • Hands-on, down to earth, with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to juggle and manage a diverse case load
  • Ability and desire to market and help grow the  business
  • Appreciation of managing client expectations with regards fees
